Department information
Mission: To serve as an advocate for minor tribal children who are referred to the program. This is accomplished through the provision of child protective services and case management. We recognize that protecting tribal children is our primary purpose. Children are our future and deserve to grow up in a safe and nurturing environment.
Services
- Prevention Services (Household cleaning supplies/lice kits/ diapers/ food/ formula/beds)
- Family Supportive and Self-Sufficiency Services (Support groups/ online education/ financial literacy/ childcare help)
- Transportation Assistance (gas/transport services)
- Referrals to service providers (AODA/Mental Health/ Treatment)
- Supervised visitations
- Community Family Events (Crafts/ Bingo/ All children matter walk)
- Cultural Preservation (trainings/literature)
